La peinture de Collier est une perpétuelle interrogation sur le temps fondu dans l’espace et leur poésie.Fasciné par le rapport entre le vrai et le faux, le réel et l’imaginaire, la représentation intemporelle de l’espace le conduit à mélanger lieux et styles dans un onirisme souvent surréaliste (il est belge après tout) pour créer des mosaïques urbaines où se fondent des bâtiments de différentes époques.
